Module 1 of the Gifted and Talented (GT) Education Professional Development Series discusses the Nature and Needs of the GT student. In addition to the identification and assessment components, Module 1 attempts to dispel some of the myths, review the law, and provide practical GT instructional strategies that can be used in the GT and general education classroom.
The purpose of this course is to help teachers learn how to use creativity in the classroom to build high thinking demand.
