Applied Instructional Strategies is designed to assist teachers in becomimg more effective in the classroom. The course will focus on developing a deeper understanding of learning theories and how they are applied in the classroom.
Participants will be required to develop a toolbox that incorporates multiple strategies such as project based learning.
This course is developed to explore the issues of diversity and culture in developing choral programs in urban schools. Text include A Framework for Understanding Poverty and the pedagogical approaches of Paulo Freire.
Students will be expected to finish the coursework within the time given and respond to others in the class.
