• Applied Instructional Strategies is designed to assist teachers in becomimg more effective in the classroom. The course will focus on developing a deeper understanding of learning theories and how they are applied in the classroom.

    Participants will be required to develop a toolbox that incorporates multiple strategies such as project based learning. 

  • This course is developed to explore the issues of diversity and culture in developing choral programs in urban schools.  Text include A Framework for Understanding Poverty and the pedagogical approaches of Paulo Freire. 

    Students will be expected to finish the coursework within the time given and respond to others in the class.
