This course will explain the C.H.A.M.P.S. classroom management approach.  We will discuss practical aspects of classroom management, design the appropriate management system for individual teachers, explore various tools used in the C.H.A.M.P.S. approach and evaluate them.  Each teacher will create an appropriate, practical classroom management system for his/her individual academic setting. 

This course reviews the classroom management stucture called CHAMPS and asks teachers to look at this tool in a new way.

This session will explore Madeline Hunter's model of a lesson. The participants will understand the components of a lesson. The participants will be able to apply Madeline Hunter's model to create  thier own lessons for effective instructional delllivery.

This course's primary purpose is to offer every student with some basic knowledge about poverty and how students' learning can be affected by the living, economical, social and emotional conditions that are present in their everyday lives.
